Cute but run big

I love these shorts but they run very big. Model stats say she’s a size 1 and in a small. I’m a 4-6 so I ordered a medium. They were HUGE!! And the return process for this boutique is costly and frustrating. I feel like they should have been honest and said they ran big on the model because I can’t see how they could have been true to size with the way they fit me.
