Beautiful but run small

The colors are beautiful and the fabric is so soft and silky. I ordered a small (my usual size is an XS) and my friend ordered her normal size M. The Smalls are pretty tight around my 24" waist and my friend said her mediums are almost too snug. They're loose, flowy and fabulous otherwise. I'm 5'6 and 115lbs.
